Salty Beach is a small Scottish Highlands home fragrance brand. You can contact us at info@saltybeach.co.uk.

What We Collect

When you order, contact us, register interest, make a trade enquiry, or vote for a future scent, we may receive your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, order details, scent vote, marketing choice, and messages you send us.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number on saltybeach.co.uk.

How We Use Data

We use order and contact details to process purchases, arrange shipping, respond to support requests, prevent fraud, and meet legal record-keeping obligations. We use vote and interest details to understand demand, respond to trade enquiries, and send the requested first-look update.

Services We Use

We share only what is needed with Stripe for payments, Vercel for website hosting, Resend for order email, Google Sheets for order and vote records, Google Analytics for consented website measurement, and delivery providers used to send parcels. These providers process information under their own security and privacy terms.

Marketing Choice

Marketing is optional and consent boxes are unticked by default. If you opt in, you can withdraw consent at any time by emailing info@saltybeach.co.uk. We may still send necessary messages about an order or a first-look update you requested.

Storage And Retention

The shopping bag is stored in your browser using local storage. Order records are kept only as long as needed for fulfilment, support, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. Vote and marketing records are reviewed and removed when no longer needed.

Your Rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of personal information where the law allows, and you can object to certain uses. Email info@saltybeach.co.uk. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
